February 7, 20233 yr Once again I can I get to the simulator to start. I have tried upgrading to the beta downgrading to the regular. I have also verified that the files of coding to steam. no issue. I really thought that was no hope for X-Plane, but this is a insanity was Microsoft flight simulator has gotten out of hand. Any ideas on what to do other than we installing? I have put my wine and cheese down as well in hopes something would give....The status bar at the bottom goes all the way to the end and stops. I am using a default airplane. February 7, 20233 yr Unlikely a graphics driver issue unless you are using one from 2+ years ago. Have you renamed your community folder to eliminate possibilities of a bad, corrupt or old addon? i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
February 7, 20233 yr Run the following commands in Powershell (admin rights)… Go through each of the following steps one at a time. Copy each line, one at a time , paste it into the Dos window (crtl + V) and press return and it will then run. Wait until each runs and finishes before you move on to the next one. When you are completely finished, Restart your computer and then try to see in MS2020 will start and run properly Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /checkhealth Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /scanhealth Dism.exe /online /Cleanup-Image /Restorehealth sfc /scannow Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /AnalyzeComponentStore Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup RESTART your computer as the last step. February 7, 20233 yr I have had in past some no flit sim boot-up issues, found my Win 11 clock was not set properly (sorry can't remember person that gave me this clue). Sounds strange but worked for me. Good luck!!! High end with 5090, VR, 2020 & 2024.
February 7, 20233 yr I have had that before a few times and instead of starting from a desktop icon or an icon on the taskbar, I went into Microsoft Store and hit PLAY on the MSFS entry. that worked.
