February 16, 20233 yr For me personally, SU10 was the most stable and best performing for me so far. Once SU11 dropped, I had to reduce TLOD by 100 to have the same FPS as before, with the obvious reduction in draw distance. Umm, did you see Ian's comment, he who has such good visual acuity he gets headaches when screen refresh is under 60hz+: "I’m running 4K and see barely noticeable difference between 200 and 400." And ridiculously more meaningful than that: look at your 58" 4K display--the pixels are as big as marbles 🤣 In fact here is the Pixel Density of your screen: 76. My lowly 3440x1440's is 110. Your high PPI and old eyes are unable to resolve down to the pixel level so the enhanced LOD Detail is lost to you. February 17, 20233 yr I keep it between 125 and 150 for TLOD. Object LOD I see little to no difference so I keep it at 150. TLOD I really don't notice too much a difference overall between 150 and 200. 200 just gives my CPU the stutters. Wondering? Is this reason why I had major low FPS passing over New York in the 414 a few days ago? I was angry at how bad the stutters were so I left the sim running. When I came back it was running better. Maybe it was my TLOD? I turned all of those way down during the stutter fest but to no avail... 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.

I've had this happen a couple of times and it turned out to be FSLTL which I have very modest settings in, but still happened. Usually not, but these times bigtime. My sincere hope is that some day MS/Asobo will bring in detail/complexity that indeed does require highest end CPU/GPU in order to run really for flat screen users. I understand VR has unique demands and don't use VR. For starters: increase the density of the voxel-based cloud rendering. Right now clouds are essentially blurry and lower def than the rest of the sim. Were they to amp that up very significantly, and/or make is so the T-LOD slider really had big unequivocal effects on visuals, I'd move my hardware update up. But right now, no need whatsoever. Well, what was strange is that I turned FSLTL down, all GA traffic and most of the sliders like LOD etc. Still stutter fest. Then it went away after 15 minutes. Then I turned everything back up and it was fine still. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
March 10, 20233 yr Author Just flew around Saudi Arabia and well... it looks kind of word not allowed. LOD 100 / 100, also tried 200 / 100 and also 400 / 100. There is a difference, but Im not sure this is the problem. Im in 2K / TAA. Its sometimes hard to tell if its the low texture quality or if it something else, but the textures does not look clean...and when flying low things in the distance feels blurry. When flying high...well, it was not very good either to be honest. Not sure what to do. I got an advice to set 4K res in NVCP and then, you know.. I guess that will have a big bite of my systems resources though... RTX 3060 Ti + AMD 5600X + 16Gb + Nvme Any more suggestions for me?

Server issues, those happens from time to time. Maybe there is not so good aerial pictures from that part of the world. And lastly, well, Saudi Arabia is mostly.... sand. Desert and sand to the horizon. That could look blurry although it is not. No offense.... Tapani Österberg
