Deleted the last two addons of airports I created, which worked fine before, and same thing. Tried running as administrator. Same thing. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Roy Sadly, it appears hopeless after almost three weeks. This is a a copy of my update just posted on MS Support Zendesk: Is there any update on the Azure/MS server issue? I’m on day 18 of not even being able to start MSFS. These efforts have been unsuccessful with zero improvement: 1.) MSFS Repair option; 2.) MSFS reinstall (three times); 3.) Windows 10 reinstall; 4.) Xbox & MS Store reinstall; 5.) Alternate MS account.

Alternate MS account. Les, I know just how you feel. Now that I finished my reinstall I have a plain vanilla sim. I backed up my Community Folder and now that I'm up a running again I have put back in the Community Folder. None of them show up in the sim. I had several payware planes, some payware scenery. Two airports and five or six that i redid in SDK. None of them show up in the sim. I tried loading them in again, but still the same. I have hours upon hours spent in construction these airports. I also had 15 or 20 mods that I had installed from Flightsim.to. Nothing. I even reloaded one of the airports back into the SDK and rebuilt the package and loaded it into the Community Folder. It did not show up. It's almost like the program doesn't know where the Community Folder is. At this point I have no idea what to do. Reset the "Online" option (under DATA setting). Turn it OFF,then turn it ON (may need to do it more than once), then restart the sim. Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com

Hi Roy, can you find the UserCfg.opt file in the LocalCache folder? The last line in that text file tells you where MSFS believes it can find the Community folder. One more thing to check.. is your computer clock set to the correct time? May seem like a silly thing, but it can actually make things disappear in MSFS.. May seem like silly thing, but it can actually make things disappear in MSFS.. I have discovered the problem just by accident, because I have been trying everything. When I started the reinstall I changed the source to my SSD drive F: , and it installed it there. I stated early that I didn't think it knew where the Community Folder was. So I put one of my airports that I created into the Community Folder on the C:\ drive user\app data\local\ etc....Community Folder. I started the sim and it came up. Now, maybe you know how I can make it point to the F: Drive Community Folder. If not possible, I guess I could just load everything into the C drive folder, but my C drive is kinda full. Have a really careful look... it may be that there is a link to your F drive somewhere... You say that you installed MSFS onto your F drive... Is there a Wpsystem folder there with contents that lead to the Local Cache folder? Bert
February 18, 20233 yr Author Yes. It's there. i7-10700 CPU @2.90 GHz, 32 GB Ram, nVadia GTX1660ti, Samsung 1 TB SSD Drive

February 18, 20233 yr This what I see on my C drive... note that most of the folders have a link symbol... That means that they point to the actual location on my MSFS drive.. Bert

February 18, 20233 yr Author Nothing is in the C drive Community Folder except the two items I just put in there to see if it would work. It was empty before and was empty now, until I added the two items. i7-10700 CPU @2.90 GHz, 32 GB Ram, nVadia GTX1660ti, Samsung 1 TB SSD Drive
February 18, 20233 yr Back to basics... At install time, you say that you directed MSFS to install to your F drive, correct? The Wpsystem folder on your F drive indicates that this indeed happened... unless this is left over from a previous install.. Report back on what you find there. Bert
