OMG the Clouds!

I hope you realize that you were the one who kicked off the ridiculous comparisons unprovoked

I realize everything.  The problem is, everything I do, is to prove a point.  I'm not here saying, "X-Plane clouds rock!".  Nor am I saying there is nothing wrong with X-Plane's clouds.

When I see people complain, constantly, about the same thing, more often than I open up Substance Painter or Blender, it get's very boring.  So I decide to ruffle the feathers.  Why?  There's no point trying to have a dialogue with people who keep posting negative comments, with no positive ones.  Literally, no positive comments.

I never discredited turbomax and his cloud issues at twilight.  Laminar even knows about the problem.  I was one of the people who reported it.  But do you, or anyone else, really expect me, or anyone else, to respond to him when he keeps referring to X-Plane 12 as "xperiment12"?

Not happening.

Brand loyalty is one thing but as a commercial vendor I think you really need to take a step back and think about how you look when you go on the offensive/defensive the way you do.

And how would you like me to address the comments in here?  "You're right.  X-Plane clouds look hideous.  Scenery and graphics are from 20 years ago.  etc..."

I can't have a discussion with people who keep regurgitating the same garbage.  Graphics from 20 years ago?  Really?  Be more realistic, and I'll be happy to join in a discussion.  Take it to the extreme, and I'll reciprocate by "taking the word not allowed".

I don't do this to "defend" X-Plane or Laminar.  Far from it.  Austin couldn't give a rip about what I say.  And I wouldn't want him to.  I just want to have mature discussions about a FLIGHT SIM in a forum I have been a part of for over 20 years.  It's just a flight sim.  This isn't something life changing.  This is a hobby.  It's pretend flying.

You probably won't care about about my opinion but I'll put it out there anyway.

I take everyones opinion into consideration.  Regardless what they said to me in the past.  And I'm happy to bury the hatchet with anyone willing to do so in return.

Dude, like I said, it's a flight sim.  It's pixels on a screen that people like to use to relax, unwind, chill out, or maybe even practise on.  Whatever version people want to use, needs to be respected.  Personally, I couldn't believe there were still people using FS9.  But I'm certainly not going to criticize their choice.  To do so would show a very healthy amount of arrogance.
