Does hard drive speed matter in getting PG to look good?

I doubt it.. unless you are using USB disk drives..

For me, PG in general looks good. Indeed not at ground level. The usual suspects like London, Paris, Vancouver, etc. remain bad due to bad data in the first place.
I even between the buildings in LA, I find it acceptable:

Wow!   Your PG look really good.  Its seems on your machine that LA has managed to avoid World War 3.

Photogrammetry looks so terrible, it really kills the immersion. It isn't my internet speed...

Photogrammetry can be beautiful if you fly above or just a short distance and under certain conditions.

It's the distant approach to the city that ruins all realism. The city looks like a potato field.

And I won't bother to elaborate on the black color of the buildings either.

Yeah. Tried a ridiculous amount of settings but some places look ok versus others.

I just deal with and fly the plane, really. I love GA and notice it if I really look closely but at this point I feel like nit-picking over something so much better than previous simulators. It feels kind of petty.

With that said....London can look kind of melted in some places I am usually too focused on the sharp approach of London City to really notice these (just an example).

I wonder if trying Manual Cache would help?
