Flight plan database availability

Featured Replies

Given a plane and a departure airport, is there a database of flight plans that can be downloaded or viewed in the internet? For example, a GA plane leaving KLAX?

Search by route.

Most of what is said on the Internet may be the same thing they shovel on the regular basis at the local barn.

I checked the link above. Thank you.

It asks for flight #, or origin and destination.

But GA planes do not have flight #s. Also, it asks for origin and destination but it does not ask for the type of plane.

I'm looking for a flight plan that considers the limitations of a GA plane such as its maximum range and altitude, from a location to any destination within the plane's limitation. I'm looking for sightseeing trips from an airport for a GA plane.

Try the FlightTracking option and choose Aircraft Type. You'll need to know the correct type designator, but you'll get a list of aircraft of that type if any are flying.
