Suggest to me a nice airline airport in the US

Recommended Posts

I need some suggestions of a nice airline airport in the US, just curious if I am missing something at the current time.  I fly almost all the time with with the PMDG 737-600, 800, and 900.   by the way, I own the following airports,

KJFK, KLGA, KEWR, KBOS, KSYR, KBUF,KIAD< KDCA, KCLT, KFLL, KTPA, KPHL, KORD, KDTW, KDAL, KLAS,  KPHX, KSAN, KLAX, KSEA, CYYZ, CYVR.

I know down the line, their will be a KIAH, and up in Minneapolis. Also down the line will have a KMCO, KSLC, and a KDFW,.

But, I am looking to buy an airport which is already out now, since I just had a hernia operation and will be flying more.

My system specs are: Windows 10, 3080, Nividia, 32 gb"s, 3400 mhz, 4.8 speed, Alienware, 1000 power, 32" Dell monitors running on 2k

KMDW is a big Southwest Airlines hub. the biggest one you are missing is KMIA and maybe KFLL right next to it (though at KFLL its mostly Airbusses youll see)

KPDX, KSAT, KAUS, KSMF, KOAK, KMEM, KSDF, KABQ, KRSW, KMSY and other smaller ones like KOMA, KBDL or KMYR, ... there is a lot to choose from.

A second vote for KDEN which has become the biggest hub for three top 10 US-based carriers, United, Southwest and Frontier. It's one of just four airports in United States with more than 200 destinations and has daily flights to just about every city in the United States. Certainly a must have.

Flightbeam KDEN is available from the marketplace. Highly recommended.

I had hoped KDEN (Asobo, Premium Deluxe I think) would have had its severe elevation defects addressed in SU12 but no joy.  It's $19 to fix this with Flightbeam's offering but I can't bring myself to spend that much $$ to fix elevation defects at one airport😜.  Outside of the elevation problem the rest of the airport is fine and I think the reason this airport never goes on sale is because of the elevation defects 😡.

Orbx's KSBA is nice for regional airliners.

It's worth it, though. The entire airport is much better than the Asobo one. There is a lot of love and detail in it.

What about KATL? Hartsfield-Jackson Airport has been the world's busiest airport by passenger traffic since 1998, with over 93.6 million passengers (As of 2022)

How about demand on the main thread if you will?

kmdw and kden. Also agree that the hand crafted Denver is decent. But light years away from the flightbeam quality.
