This does exist now; it's called "freelance" mode.  Just load up in any airplane you want, at any airport you want, and click the freelance tab in Neofly.  A variety of jobs will be generated for the current airplane based on the distance parameters you select.  It's really a great way to end up exploring some places you wouldn't have gone otherwise, and the mission variety is cool too.  I've been using it to explore New Guinea and it's great for that.

👍

Awesome. This is exactly what I want to do!

  • Have you tried or looked at A Pilot's Life:  Chapter 2?  One time fee of I think $30, and has a lot of very cool features for a career in MSFS but the focus is on commercial airlines and their actual

  • The one thing that kept me from trying it is that it seems to be primarily oriented at flying the larger aircraft, the exact opposite of Neofly which is mostly limited to bush / air taxi type of flyin

Yes to both. @bionictruck already talked about NeoFly above so I'll just confirm that OnAir also lets you stick with whatever aircraft(s) strikes your fancy. You can get as big -- or stay as small --

I know that after the first a2a Komanche update, the plane works with NeoFly4.

However, my NF4 doesn't recognize new, downloaded liveries, just the ones that come on a package with the plane.

Is yours the same?

Am I missing something and what?

Please help! Thanks in advance!

They need to be added to Neofly by the Devs manually. If there is any aircraft or livery missing Neofly has an option wh3re you can submit the details and they will  add it in the next patch.

So I got NeoFly 4 up and running and I did my first job... fly tourists around the obervatory in Maui.  I think I did the mission successfully... I flew around the observatory a couple of times, landed back at PHOG and taxied and shutdown. The mission log in Neofly shows I got like 25XP and was dinged $400+ for airport fees, but I never got paid.  My cash balance is now the starting $5000 minus the airport fees... so about $4500. What did I miss?

Edit: I ran another mission and got paid. I hope it was just a one time glitch, but if anyone has any advice on how to ensure you get paid, please let me know before I call Saul.

Edit2: Is anyone using NeoFly with the H145 Action Pack? How do they work together, if at all?

I'm a bit late to the party but this program is very nicely updated for FS2024. Great for bush flying and exploration.

I'm totally using this as an FS2024 career alternative cause unlike FS2024, NF4 actually works!!
