Probably one of if not the best career tools out there, especially good when accompanied with Sky4Sim toolbar/tablet in flight, enjoy

Yes to both. @bionictruck already talked about NeoFly above so I'll just confirm that OnAir also lets you stick with whatever aircraft(s) strikes your fancy. You can get as big -- or stay as small --

Hmm, I uninstalled the beta last week because I wasn't using it. Perhaps I'll give it another go. Thanks for the heads-up.

Just a warning for those of you who are currently using NeoFly 3 and haven't used NeoFly 4 yet: there is no way to transfer your profile from 3 to 4 so you will have to start your career over from scratch.

Still worth switching to in my opinion. I really liked NeoFly 4 but ended up switching to OnAir Company instead as it was just a little bit more in line with what I was looking for.

Todavía vale la pena cambiar en mi opinión. Me gustó mucho NeoFly 4, pero terminé cambiando a OnAir Company porque estaba un poco más en línea con lo que estaba buscando.

I am also in Onair

Just got neofly 4. Liking it very much so far. Grinding some money with the rather nice DHC-2 and am looking at expanding to the Kodiak as soon as I get cash enough for the Kodiak.

Cheers for the heads up!

I'll definitely give it a try.

Although, I see on their website you can aspire to be an airline manager.

Why anyone would choose that career is beyond me.😀

Have you tried or looked at A Pilot's Life:  Chapter 2?  One time fee of I think $30, and has a lot of very cool features for a career in MSFS but the focus is on commercial airlines and their actual routes.  A huge component, and my reason for using it always, is it scores all flights towards your Pilot Rating.  The other big role it's played for me is flying for different airlines worldwide it has taken me to so many places I would never have explored otherwise.  Here is the list of criteria you're scored on, and you can see I was dinged 1 point for failure to turn landing lights off at 10K feet (it's actually any time between 9000 and 11000 feet qualifies:spacer.png

The one thing that kept me from trying it is that it seems to be primarily oriented at flying the larger aircraft, the exact opposite of Neofly which is mostly limited to bush / air taxi type of flying.

I do like some of the features in A Pilots Life though and wish there was a career addon that has it all.

I agree somewhat to this. The previous version was mostly about flying but more and more "airline tycoon" features are added which I don't understand. According to some of the comments on the Discord Channel, some of the users seem to be more interested in running the virtual pilots in order to make a lot of money than actually flying the routes themselves.
A few even worry what happens if these pilots stop flying when they are not able to start Neofly during their holidays and take their laptops with them on vacation just be able to manage the virtual pilots.

I'm currently flying for Cape Air in APL - regional airline mainly in the Northeast USA.  Lots of options with APL.

I have 3 hired pilots in my Neofly save. Not so many that it's irritating to keep up with, but it gets the cash to buy the planes I want to fly faster. Bopping around in a V35 is fun for awhile, but moving up to a Longitude is usually my goal.

I got this set up and I love it!

The jobs and commodity trading scratches a weird itch for me. I was really into Elite: Dangerous for the same reason but with this add-on MSFS will replace it.

Sky4Sim is a great add-on, even without NeoFly. I will be upgrading both this weekend. What great add-ons that really opened up a new fun world in MSFS!

Am I able to use OnAir or Neofly to fly GA pax trips without progressing in my career? I'm not interested in progressing up-the-ladder to heavy-iron. As a longtime FSE guy, that's what I'm accustomed to and wonder if I might be able to do the same with either of the aforementioned.

From what I can see in Neofly, yes. You have to do qualification check rides to open up bigger aircraft. Looks like you could stay with the single engine pistons if you want.

Yes to both. @bionictruck already talked about NeoFly above so I'll just confirm that OnAir also lets you stick with whatever aircraft(s) strikes your fancy. You can get as big -- or stay as small -- as you want. It's really all about what makes you happy.

I've started a small FBO, purchased a couple of Longitudes, and hired a few pilots to fly them but I really just use them to generate cash while I putter around in the Kodiak and other, smaller, GA aircraft. And I love every minute of it.

Thanks for this helpful information. By the way, I understand OnAir has already developed a work-around to be able to recognize the newly released A2A Comanche.
