I agree for now but these types of idea's don't just remain static and have a tendency to evolve into some that could lead to bootable thin/client services. This was a concept the IBM wanted to do on the original pc by making it client to the mainframe for business. This would be the first step to masses.
June 27, 20232 yr Author It`s about not requiring powerful PC`s and consoles mainframes in MS will power the software and games, you just get instant access in the cloud though an app on any devise. constantly updated in the cloud.no need to send updates to users PC`s or mobile devise. As hardware and materials get more expensive. TSMC Expected to Charge $25,000 per 2nm Wafer | Tom's Hardware (tomshardware.com) Most things now need microchips in the home car and computers, manufacturing is going to get more expencive building more Fabs will not solve the problem just more demand for materials.
