Same here (3.1.1) ... installed via the Linker. No problems with the scenery (superb!!!).

Ok, this must be something simple... Have a look at the folder, does it have a layout and manifest file in it, or is it possibly a folder within a folder?

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I think you have hit on the problem. Just checked again, and it seems that the EGSU airport in my Community folder had an additional folder at the top. When I removed this, everything worked as it should. And it is an excellent airport! I looked at several other airports in the Community file and discovered a number that had the same problem and weren't loading. Removed the "extra" cover folder and they now all work. Thanks again.

My system specs: Intel [email protected] - 5.2 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 32GB  DDR4  RAMNoctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler,1TB Seagate SSD, 4TB Seagate HD, Windows 10, Asus 32 inch monitor, Saitek Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals and Trim Wheel     Sims: MSFS2020      Preferred Aircraft  Black Square Bonanza, and Baron, A2A Comanche, PMDG DC-6, Red Wing L1049

Yeah, if you don't use addon linker, and the source compressed file is a .zip, you get that top level folder. I don't run into it as much with .rar files.

Join me in the chorus of using Addon Linker. It makes organizing stuff easy. Plus you can save presets. It's handy when some part of a troubleshooting step is "clear your community folder."

Some people that design scenery, in my experience , but the folder with the data, inside another folder with the title on it. I always check that, after unzipping, before I insert it in the community folder.
