July 11, 20232 yr Cool👍 FANTASTIC Cockpit also Mr. Salden 🤩🤩 You are one of the Cockpit builder *Pioneers* 😃😃 , I remember *the brown cockpits* The 747(767 also?) atleast in various incarnations. I only have a 10900k with 32GB system Ram and 3090 24GB, I have 1 LG TV Oled 4K 55inch, is it at all adviseable to build 3 screens? Cockpit-build on 1 computer? (I also have a Reverb G2 headset, the reason I bought a 3090 after a initial 3080 investment..) Thanks in advance Regards RuneENHD

You can do this with every monitor, so a monitor with a LED strip at the back and you will get the same effect as every Ambilight TV. Hete someone who has a racing car setup with Philips HUE. July 11, 20232 yr That's neat. Is 2 4K displays almost too taxing in performance? If I did this (home cockpit) I would consider two 1440p displays, but then...that seems like under-usage of my 4090 card. Or maybe 3 displays, one for center, possibly curved...and one display each for left and right. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

Therefore I choose the WidevieW way so max 2X 4K for my server and 1x 4K for my Left view client . 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
July 11, 20232 yr Thank you Mr. Salden, 😊 I have seen a few cockpits with 3 screens on youtube and on forums! But I was a bit unsure, and it makes me even more unsure about following that 3-screen path now as 2 more oleds are a bit expensive! 😔😲 even the 55inch TVs... I have thought about running 3x *1440p MSFS-resized* 55-4K , as it was one of the FIRST things I tried after getting the 55inch 4K Oled TV. I used the resize resolution in the display options in MSFS2020 I also tested with Nvidia DLSS.. It felt quite a bit blurry at 4K compared to 1440p MSFS Resized in my opinion? Maybe I did mistake as I did a Quality reduction testing in Nvidia control panel.. I went from Texture=Quality VS, Texture=Performance with the DLSS testing I did, so "maybe not" a complete apples to apples comparison I guess I forgot that I had also changed that setting before testing DLSS inside MSFS.. doo'h .. 😳 Thanks for answers/advice everyone if you have experience with the subject.
July 12, 20232 yr Author Today I am adding 2 more spots. One at the left below the grey shelf and one extra at the top. I was just thinking that I might have to configure the lights at the opposite direction in the HUE sync app. At this moment it is configured to what I see on the displays. If a light shines into the cockpit coming from the left it is shining on the right part of the cockpit Or do I see it wrong ? What do you think ? 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
