September 10, 20232 yr Since the last beta 7a, when I generate a flight plan neither the Star nor the Via appear, with flight plan generated with simbrief. before with beta 6D I had no problems. https://mega.nz/file/F49ymSpC#mTSY0pKCGskP0yZqPxnZWYCUq1igI3t9pOypkZ_QyZw Edited September 10, 20232 yr by Juanra100
September 10, 20232 yr Commercial Member If importing plans directly from SIMBrief that contain SIDs or STARs, you must check the option on the Import screen to "Import Procedures". Otherwise, it will only import the Departure and Destination airports along with any route waypoints. Dave

Hi srcooke Until now I never had that option activated and it always gave me a Star and a way. Activating this option does not work for me either. I have returned to 6D and without problems

De lo contrario, solo importará los aeropuertos de salida y destino junto con los puntos de referencia de la ruta. dave Hi Dave So what I don't understand is how in the 6D it works without problems without activating that option
September 10, 20232 yr Commercial Member If a plan is imported without a STAR and the route has a good STAR fit, and the ATC Assigns STAR is checked, P2A will assign a STAR on its own when you file. It may be the same or a different STAR from what SIMBrief has, but usually it ends up being the same. If it works with the option to Import Procedures checked, then it is working as designed. If it is not, then you would need to send me specifics in order for me to test it. It works correctly for me. Dave
September 11, 20232 yr Hi Dave, I have the same issue. I import the flightplan from Simbrief without the procedures. But with previous versions, when I pressed the Auto Plan button, a STAR was automatically assigned. Now, it is just left blank and I have to assign it manually. Not in front of my computer now so not sure about the name, but I have something like "ATC provide STAR" checked in the options. Thanks, Fabrice Fabrice Lambert
September 11, 20232 yr Commercial Member Hi Fabrice, Pressing the Auto Plan button should provide a STAR if one makes sense. Some airports, for example, have STARs that only start on the opposite side of the airport from the route or that would add significantly to the flight distance. So even if "ATC Assigns STAR" is checked, it will not always be assigned. While nothing has changed in this logic recently, if you can send me a flight plan where a STAR should be assigned but isn't, I can check it out. Another approach, now that there is the direct SIMBrief import, is to allow SIMBrief to select the initial STAR and then have P2A import it with the plan to begin with. Dave
September 11, 20232 yr Hi Dave, Here are a couple of flight plans that usually add a STAR. I created them on Simbrief, imported them in P2A without the procedures, then clicked on Auto Plan: EDDS/07 N0401F230 ROTW7H ROTWE Y126 TUBLO N850 NATOR/N0435F310 DCT LUTIX DCT BENOT BENO1N LSGG/04 LFKB/34 N0423F300 AKUT2Q AKUTI UM616 PIGOS UM622 IRMAR DCT KINES KINE2N LSGG/04 I usually get a BENOT and a KINES arrival for these flights. Hope this helps. Thanks, Fabrice Fabrice Lambert
September 11, 20232 yr Just noticed that if I copy/paste the above flightplans in P2A, remove the runways and procedures and click import, it is working when clicking Auto Plan. But it is not working using the Import Simbrief button. Fabrice Lambert
September 11, 20232 yr Commercial Member Thanks for the test routes. I tested using Beta 7B. Pasting the full EDDS-LSGG text and doing Import gives the procedures because they are in the text. I set up the same plan in SIMBrief, imported with Procedures, and got the same results. Then I imported without Procedures which gave just the route. Checked to be sure ATC Assigns STAR and ATC Assigns SID options were checked. Pressed AutoPlan and got the SID, STAR and Approach equivalent to SIMBrief. The SID was ROTW1K instead of ROTW7H. And, of course, SIMBrief didn't give an approach whereas P2A did add the ILS to RW04. I got similar results testing the other route. If you have a step by step that produces the problem, please let me know. Thanks, Dave
September 12, 20232 yr Hi Dave, I sent you an email with steps and screenshots. Thanks, Fabrice Fabrice Lambert

Gracias, Fabrice Hello everyone, The same thing that Fabrice mentions keeps happening to me. exactly the same also with the 7b On the other hand, if I use the 6d, it works perfectly. I don't know if there has been any internal change, because I always keep doing the same thing. I have been using the pilot2atc for 2 years and it has always worked correctly. for exemple LEBL/LEPA LEBL LARPA UN859 TOLSO LEPA (SIMBRIEF) AIRAC 2309 FOR PILOT2ATC Not appear any Star and Via when clicking Auto Plan with te version 7a/7b With the version 6d appear the star and via https://mega.nz/file/F49ymSpC#mTSY0pKCGskP0yZqPxnZWYCUq1igI3t9pOypkZ_QyZw Edited September 12, 20232 yr by Juanra100
September 12, 20232 yr ok, seems I have an issue with my emails... The email I sent is blank and if I try to send another one, my email app crashes... So I'll try here without screenshots: 1. Click FP Import. 2. In the new window, check Import Callsign, uncheck Import Procs, then click on Import SimBrief. 3. Click on Auto Plan. When the Flightplan is loaded, the SID has been added, not the STAR. Hope this helps. Thanks, Fabrice Edited September 12, 20232 yr by Fabrice Fabrice Lambert
