They do indeed. They also enable legit resellers. It's a mixed bag like the internet as a whole, hench make of it what you will.

So you understand that of your fifty purchases you almost certainly have stolen property on your pc? This doesn’t bother or effect you?

Hyper14: I upgraded about two months ago through the marketplace via Steam. I think I paid about $80. from the basic to the premium version. The reason: I really wanted the Beech Baron, the Longitude and the added 30% discount on Asobo products in the MP. That promo has been discontinued as I no longer see it available as I was able to after I purchased it, but it has since been removed from MP. It was up until either the end of July or August. As someone recently stated, if possible, you could wait either for MSFS 2024 or perhaps Black Friday or Christmas, MS might have that promo on again.

Even if it doesn't, the other problem with sites like that is, well, these are criminals. They're just as willing to rip you off as they are to steal someone's credit card. In other words, you have absolutely no guarantee (even if it says it's guaranteed) the code you buy is going to work. Sometimes they resell the same codes over and over. Sometimes the developer finds out which codes are stolen and disables them.

Sites like these are like buying car stereos from a guy selling them out of the back of his van. Even if you're ethically OK with buying what is likely stolen property, you're taking a risk that it will backfire on you.
