That LOAD in ProgamData....

Whenever I install P3D I notice my space in the system ( C : ) drive shrinking, and now that I have v5 and v6, wow, it stole around 70 GB...

The package cache folders, with CAB files, correspond to the install, and they stay there even after installing... In the past I believe I have deleted it without problem, and today, not thinking twice about it, I deleted both collections of folders from the v6 and then the v5 installs...

Does it matter? Would it be required under some updates? Well, just hope not because I made no backup 😬

The P3D System Requirements does mention the drive space needed:
For P3D 6 it is 85GB , with at least 35GB on drive C:\

Yes, the last incremental update required these caches files, no problem re. no backup, just re-install P3D.

Oops 😕

I also deleted the P3dv5 cache files, but those aren't really a problem since no more updates are expected, I guess, and there are no automatic online updates...

Regarding v6, I might try to reinstall it though ...

Thx!

If I delete everything in the cache file, would it acutely hurt anything? I have several dating back years. I know some uninstallers may not work. What are they for anyway? Anyone? I only have 237GB on my C drive.
