To understand a bit about the current situation with Fulcrum read the last couple pages of the above thread

https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/634653-status-of-fulcrum-and-orders/page/6/

Unfortunately, there has been essentially no communication with Chris for a number of months.

What type of yoke failure have you had?

Chris hasn’t replied to my last two texts. Draw your own conclusions. He hasn’t visited AvSim since June.

Wow, how did that happen?

Ebay may be the best bet to find some replacement parts especially if someone is selling a Fulcrum yoke "for parts" because of some other failure.

I remember that from the very beginning when Fulcrum was sent to me, one of these screws was slightly loose... perhaps from at the beginning there was a small crack that was growing

I used it all the time, very gently, I never pulled it hard or nervously, etc

Another possibility is that maybe someone with a 3D printer could make that black part based on measurements and pictures from the broken one.

Al

If you can't find a 3D Printer to do it, from your pictures it looks like you could make a piece to do the job. Since it just holds the bushing in place you could probably make a holder that works out of a piece of hardwood with a saw, holesaw, drill, some thinking, and patience. Not too difficult and inexpensive.

Or...if you have an industrial supply store nearby that carries bearing holders you might be able to buy and modify something like one of these to work.

Hi,

Thank you all very much for your suggestions and advice,

I will have to deal with it myself, I see, because "SUPPORT" is dead...

sad, but it looks like this company has ceased to exist....

Following the discussion about a broken front support "collar" here are the STL files for printing the part. Based on my own experience I've used an "U" shape to be able to replace the part without disassembling half of the yoke; the upper part of the collar doesn't take any load so it's redundant. Our colleague Martin has tried it and it works fine; however in my part M4 screws/ nuts were used, and Martin has M5. So I've made both versions.

Thanks again Sergey for your great support !!

As Sergey said, his design of this damaged part is perfect, and if anyone has a similar problem, feel free to use it.
