Too bad the finallight.fx filter from Reshade doesn't work with nvidia filters, I have read many recommendations on how it enhances MSFS. I do use Nvidia filters and I'm quite pleased with my setup, but would like to try that finallight filter. Perhaps a version for nvidia will be available sometime.

Do you mean it doesn't work with GEForce experience?

ReShade is easy to install, then you just need one filter.  I spent months trying to get MSFS looking correct with multiple filters, but FinalLight.fx did it all with nothing to configure.

I take it you don't use HDR monitor?

My point is this -  the single FinalLight.fx filter fixes all basic colour issues with MSFS.  There are many downloads available that use many, many filters to achieve the same thing, and often break something else.

So he does need filters after all. And by the way, it's not one filter, FinalLight is a preset including various filters. And we can have the same (and even better) with the Nvidia filters without having to install Reshade. Just saying.

I had an early OLED 55"LG 4K curved screen.  Closest to good VR I think.

I explained my reasoning and point quite clearly, yet you still need to come back with sarcasm.

I use an HDR600 monitor as shown in my signature 😉

I didn't see your signature, as I was on mobile, and they do not show there 😉 If this is the case, then you do not need this filter, the Author of the filter confirmed if you use HDR, it doesn't work properly and is designed for SDR monitors.

From the author himself over flightsim.to :- Yes this preset is made for SDR, it will look quite off in HDR.

That is odd, because without that filter I see the awful MSFS green tint to everything, but with it I see a wonderfull, natural and very believable scene.

word not allowed, you are correct!

I have used FinalLight.fx since before I changed to an HDR monitor.  After your reply I turned off the FinalLight.fx filter in ReShade for a test and was surprised not to see the greenish tint to everything in MSFS - the display is fine with great colours!!  No need for Reshade anymore on my system!!

Thank you for pointing that out!
