How can I move the carrier to other places?

Featured Replies

I got the Acceleration add on and I love the hornet and carrier! To me that alone was worth the $30 I paid :) Is there away to change the carriers location? Also does anyone know all the carrier locations?

>I don't know about the acceleration carrier but have you>checked out this AI Ships creator in the avsim library:>>http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=111605>-SNIP-The carriers that the aicarriers2.zip package creates arethe same carriers that FSX Acceleration uses...The other package by the same author, aicarriers1.zip, willplace the FSX carriers in 20 different locations with theirroutes shown via a Google Earth KMZ file.If you go to the autors site you will find his "AI Boat Utility"that lets you create your own moving fleets anywhere you wishand define their sailing routes with Google Earth. Just a bump for this great tool. Grab this from the library, aicarriers2r2.zip and add ships anywhere with ease!

I don't believe they are permanent. They are ad hoc. Which is the best part IMO! Non intrusive and yet a so flexible!

I added some and went back later they>were gone? Thanks,>The aicarriers that you position from the menu system infreeflight ( aicarriers2r2.zip package ) are only therefor the duration of your flight. If you want some carriers that are "permanent", then download"aicarriers1.zip". That package will place carriers + escortsat 20 locations around the planet. It comes with a Google EarthKml ( or Kmz ) file that shows you the routes the ships sailso you can locate them a bit easier. If you go to the authors site and get his "AI Boat Utility",that will let you create your own carriers groups ( or othershipping traffic ) and define the sailing routes using GoogleEarth. Then you can position "permanent" carriers anywhere toyour hearts content.EDIT: hummm....seems I am repeating myself in this thread. Paul
