F-111 at Sydney

Featured Replies

Had to get this. Lovely aircraft. And works for me. (ctrl-e, wot, me, RTFM? never). Jump straight in and away. Flies beautifully. Wasn't in it long enough to find out if there's built in engine damage and the like, so I may yet end up reading at least part of the manual.

But first - hooliganism!

All stock scenery as I just wanted a quick try out, and when I saw the livery options realised it had been big in Oz, I guess

Happy hols to all my fellow serious simmers!

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Cool shots., Andy. I had to buy it too and did the same you did, meaning: jump in, start from any runway, engines running and go for a quick spin. What's a manual? 😄 For any serious pilot here on Avsim, we may be the Simflight hooligans. 😄

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

Cheers Bernd, and ain't she a babe? And I honestly don't think I've done more than four or five cold starts in all the time I've been simming. The more self-righteous folk who go on about it being a "flight" simulator seem more like "button and switch" simulator fans to me. All that time wasted pressing buttons when you could be flying <grin>!

Cheers, P, and I might try Ryan's suggestion and see if I can get under that bridge at something a bit more sort of swept back and interesting <grin>. I'm really pleased this came along - always liked it and thought it was a bit of a glam girl
