Indeed @Bjoern ... it's far from being a good example of what can be achieved with X-Plane, FDM and systems customization, and leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to the core FBW implementation 😕 Thankfully we have the Toliss line of airbuses showing the level of detail available for those who want to handcraft some of the systems and aerodynamics. Well, given Austin and Philipp just did a "what it should look like" video, couldn't anyone file bug reports for any deviations from that fairly easily with bug reports that look like What you expect "blah blah should blah blah as seen in this level D full flight time stamp XX:XX" What actually happened "X-Plane crashed changing the FMC route" then maybe we could get more of these types of issues fixed: AutoATC Developer

But if a real A330 pilot files it, it carries a bit more weight (and maybe urgency). 14 hours ago, C2615 said: 🙄As one came from FS2002, I don't see why anyone would complain about default aircraft anyway, aren't they just place holder?.... That was my line of thinking for years as well, but default aircraft have gotten really good. While maybe not quite "there" compared to fully fleshed out third party aircraft, I'm more often than not surprised how much Laminar managed to cram into their XP12 birds. I mean visually, except maybe the ones carried over from older XP releases, they all look very much the part and the sounds are REALLY good! The rest, like flight characteristics and systems, is simply a concession to the limited amount of time that the devs have available for fleshing everything out in about a dozen aircraft. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
