January 9, 20242 yr P3D long time user but experimenting with MSFS. Is it possible to use multiple controllers in MSFS? I’d like to use my CH yoke for most functions but at the same use my Logitech stick for rudder control. Also, my keyboard for parking brakes (CTRL+.). I’ve looked around but haven’t found an answer to whether this is possible and, if so, how. Thanks. Edited January 9, 20242 yr by Chuck Dreier
January 9, 20242 yr Yes, you can. On my MSFS box, I have a Thrustmaster TCA Boeing Yoke and an Airbus TCA sidestick--I use the twist axis on the stick for the steering tiller on acft that use the yoke for primary control. January 9, 20242 yr Yes, and you can set up profiles for each controller on each aircraft if you want. Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light
January 9, 20242 yr I use several controllers in multiple configurations. I have 2 TQ (one I use for props, the other for jets), a yoke, a joystick and rudder pedals. These can be all configured from within MSFS. You can create multiple profiles and select the ones you want manually. I use an addon called Axis and Ohs which allows me create profiles which are automatically selected based on the aircraft that is loaded in MSFS. January 9, 20242 yr I currently have 3 throttles, a yoke, a stick, hardware FCU/MCDU and a couple other things. I highly recommend spad.next. A little bit of a learning curve. But it's very powerful. I've found I've become addicted to replacing mouse clicks and keyboard button pushes. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
January 10, 20242 yr As everyone else has confirmed, you most definitely CAN use multiple controllers. I myself have Virpil flightstick, 2x Virpil control panels, a TM Boeing Yoke, VirtualFly rudder pedals and an Xbox controller (which I use to control the external camera and drone camera). Amd I have programmed them all through the internal MSFS controller settings, can all be used simultaneously, and as others have mentioned, create profiles for specific aircraft for specific controls, all within MSFS with no external software. Now, not downplaying the utility use of the various third party apps, I just wanted to let you know its plenty doable without them. maybe minus some extra features that those apps bring. Currently on Win11
