Market Place Purchase Receipts

Recommended Posts

To whom it may concern @ Microsoft. Would it be too much trouble to issue out receipts for purchases from market place that states what was actually purchased and the amount?? Instead of the cryptic receipts that I have no idea what it means How hard could it be to issue a receipt for what was purchased, that way I have a record for future needs.

Thank you.

You'd want to go to their primary forums to voice your concern.

But yes I agree it's an issue.

Same. Bothered me from day 1. but never raised a ticket or created one of the vote topics in their forums. In the end I see in the market place what I own and installed.

what I needed more is a manual „owned“ button in the market place for those items I bought outside the marketplace. So far I use the wishlist heart for that but not consistently enough.

You gonna get kicked out of a certain "primary forum" for voicing your concern. ANY concern 😄

I did as I like(d) the ease of having everything in 1 place. but for the fact that it takes soooo long until stuff (updates!) is available on the MP, I started to also buy via 2 more outlets: ORBX and iniStore. And those nowadays get more love from me because I can even buy stuff from everywhere without having MSFS up and running....

Just curious but what do people do with receipts for 20 or 30 dollar addons for their computer games?

I don't get this thought, I am able to push updates for my products as fast as required, normal update cycles of anything I push is 1 week If I choose XBOX + PC simultaneously,  or 72 hours if I select PC only.. emergency updates (explaining it to Microsoft team and the severity) I can get it published in  48hours to 72 hours, once it was 24 hours from submission to publishing..

With FSR500  I have published about 5 updates since release date (we released it the 3rd of November) and the last update was the 18th of December prior to Christmas holidays.. I feel there are some developers using MP updates delays as an excuse for their lack of taking care of their products.. of course I can only speak based on my own experience, but so far Microsoft has been 100% responsive and helpful to me with any urgent update when required, and in any case, normal updates (features updates) being released in a 1 week cycle after submission seems very reasonable to me considering it gets pushed to both consoles and PCs.

Best,
Raul

lucky you, maybe I don't do MSFS justice here but there was a time when a 3PD update was published and hit the MP only after several weeks. 1 week is for sure better. But yet perfect.
