Which Carenado C208 was it ? (steam or glass gauge).

It's the steam gauge, thank you for the tip. The sounds in your video are great !

Yes sir. If that’s where your sim is installed. Your main sim folder that is.

The Number One P3D addons (IMHO 🙂 ) are the ones from A2A Simulations. Especially if you like a great flight model and aren't much into "study level airliners", since most of the A2A's are Light GA aircraft like the Piper Comanche, Beech Bonanza, Cessna 182 &172.

Oh, and if you're feeling adventurous (and you should!), they also have a Civilian P-51 Mustang ("civ" because it has modern radios & nav) along with several more conventional warbirds. Even a nice version of the B-17 Flying Fortress.

You can also have - for $0.00 - their P-40 Warhawk. An excellent experience!

And there's a BUNCH of (now) freeware from BlackBird (nee MilViz): https://blackbirdsims.com/flight/freebies.php

Do give the T-38A a try (VERY good flight model).

And since you like turboprops, the PC-6 and Ka350i are WONDERFUL. And the Piaggio Avanti is lovely, as well.

If you do want to delve into airliners a bit, the Majestic MJC8 Q400 flies very well and is one of the best (IMHO 🙂 ).

Well..now I feel stupid, and I even consider myself a techie building my own pc, even using linux alongside windows and have been for many years..but installing an aircraft to the obvious location..nope 😛
I always tried setting the path to SimObjects etc, but just clicking on P3DV5 was the obvious, but I just had to complicate it. Thank you very much sir, I have it installed now.

@UrgentSiesta I have installed the Milviz Beaver, the comanche with autopilot fixes and the Pilatus for now. I will install some of the others to. I saw they had a Stuka but it wasn't for V5, have anyone tested if it works in V5 though ?

And yes, I am more of a stick and rudder type of pilot, but I also enjoy light airliners like the Fokker 50 and similar sized aircraft. But for the most part I find myself in some kind of bush plane crashing into mountains because I came in to fast for landing..or stopping.

😁😁😁

Don't beat yourself up too much.

We all have, at sometime or other, overlooked the obvious.

I certainly know I have been guilty of it.

But at least you will know how to do it from now on. 😉

Well, I can confirm that UTX serves a purpose, at least here in Norway. Turns out I owned it since back when I played FSX so I installed it and tried it around the area I'm from and it was a complete transformation even with the updated P3DV5 scenery. I could easily navigate without looking at any instruments.

AIG AI traffic  is a must have for me. I also throughly recommend Living Airports for ehnaced night lighting (although the freeware Simmershomme product actually looks good too).
