For reasons unknown, payware aircraft have disappeared from the MSFS selection list. I had A2A Comanche, MV/BB C310 and the FSW C414. Checking Community folder individual aircraft folders, A2A Comanche and MV/BB C310 indicate 0 files and zero bytes. There was a Win10 update but that was about two weeks ago and this apparently happened today. The FSW C414 is the sole survivor but it is mostly locked up and mouse clicks don't work. I have since deleted Bitdefender Antivirus. It looks like I will have to reload everything. 

 How does this happen?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Did you get them from their vendor site or marketplace?

Bit defender is known for deleting files automatically, and not all of those files are actual threats.

Good that you uninstalled it - now reinstall your planes and keep BD off your system.

 

Or if you think Bitdefender was the culprit, set the community folder as an exclusion. I think Bitdefender will quarantine as opposed to straight up delete files so you can check the quarantine list and restore or delete files from there.

Thank you for the input. I operated for months with BD and no issues so who knows? They could have had some update that messed things up. 

As Donka said, BD has probably quarantined them. I honestly don't know why anyone bothers with these invasive, false-positive loving 3rd party anti-virus packages.  Windows Defender (although they no longer use that branding in Win 11) is kept bang up to date and is comprehensive and understands the Windows environment better than any other 3rd party package can.

All these packages ever do for people is cause installation and performance problems and proudly announce a load of false-positives.

And strangest thing is, some people actually pay to have this junk on their PC!
