  • I am using a Samsung Galaxy Tab A with Android 11 for the 737 and 777 CDUs. When using the 737, after creating a link to the CDU in the home screen, the Chrome Browser is launched in full-screen. This

  • A new version has just been released that supports the 777! Go ahead and grab it from https://www.aviaworx.com/download Regards Mark

  • Did you try restarting the sim? If it's not working, go ahead and send me a help request from the app. See the troubleshooting chapter in the manual.

tried that, no change, also the server is allowed through the firewall of both pc's.  Also. it worked fine with the pmdg 737

What is the latest version of AVIACDU for MSFS available for download?

I'm on 19.0.3.0.

It would be nice to see the version in the download so I can check if I have the latest version or not.

Try using your pc's browser and check the lag there. If that's ok, try another pc with a wired network.

If that's also good, it might be a poor wifi connection.

Hi, it works fine on the same PC. I use a super strong WIFI. Previously, I was using another solution called FergoCDU which is pretty similar to Avia, and everything was fine.
The first 3-5 clicks go very smooth. Then, when I click the CDU on the remote device, the sound and simulator response is immediate but the screen on the remote device takes 1 to 4 to refresh. On the iPad, I tried using Safari, Chrome and Firefox: all the same.
communication from the device to the server is immediate. Screen refresh on the device is lagging.

Sorry about the reposts... silly bug on my side. I don't know how to delete.

Duplicates removed. Users can’t delete, only edit. There are server problems. Just hit Post Reply once and after 10-15 secs refresh page.

The main aviaServer page lists the latest version:

So it's all working now? What was the root cause?

Hi, unfortunately not. I was referring to the bug that caused my reposts.

I still suffer from the lags with the MSFS PMDG 777 CDU. Works fine on the first few clicks, then the clicks (hand click on iPad or iPhone) are sending the command immediately (I can hear the sounds on the PC and the PC CDU is updated immediately) but the remote device screen takes 1 to 4 seconds to refresh.

Then I strongly suggest trying a wired network PC first, to see if the lag is caused by your main PC.

If it's working well in that scenario, try a notebook in the wireless network to see if the lag is visible there.

Your wifi might be strong, but if you have firewall or antivirus software interfering with the connection, all bets are off.

All I get with the CDU for the 777 is "FMC TIMEOUT".
The remote CDU for the 737 works perfectly. I have the latest version of the AviaServer.
Any suggestions?

Regards,

Andreas Gutzwiller

If it's any help I get the FMS Timeout message with the 777as well. If I close aviaserver and then re-open it once I'm spawned in it comes up fine.
