May 31, 20242 yr I tried reinstalling it but still the same bug persists. I have tried so far: -Sync the correct time in Win11 -Delete the cloud saves -Load the .exe under admin/compatibility for Win7/8, -Steam -FastLaunch option -Unplugged all USB/ USB-C devices -Delete all folders from Steam Version -Reinstalled Steam on another drive -Updated Nvidia Drivers/Win11 as well. -Checked for file’s integrity under Steam settings. I am running out of options and my last resort is to buy another MSFS from Win App Store…

May 31, 20242 yr For some black screen problems I have had, typing Alt Enter will end the problem. For others changing the display settings, display resolution to something else and then changing back will cure it. The problem in these cases is related to the issue of MSFS switching from full screen to windowed mode on its own. During the program starting routines, MSFS gets into a position where it cannot display anything onto the monitor and the screen goes black. There are other reasons for black screen pauses having nothing to do with the above. I've only listed this one, because it has happened to me. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. OK, we know where that is in the loading process. And for instance, it isn't the same as my issue which was occurring further along in the loading process. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 31, 20242 yr Author Even the safe mode does not load. Changing the screen resolution or windowed mode also no effect. Changing sound source, either.

June 1, 20242 yr Author I have done the integrity check as well. Just to be sure, I have also disabled the cloud sync and uninstalled Steam and MSFS. Is there any further procedure to delete the cloud save?
June 1, 20242 yr edit out of ideas you got any other games on steam that run ok reason asking is that your steam account might have got hack and preventing you running msfs, since you already said you have said you have tried the reinstall everything points to a winows11 issues unless some one else has a better solution you could try this at a last resort https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xp48T0HLo2s&t=2s Edited June 1, 20242 yr by pete_auau I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
June 1, 20242 yr I'm having the same issue. I'm stuck on the msfs splash screen and it's not loading at all. Task manager doesn't show anything "not responding ". It was working fine last night.
