Dubai to Male

Featured Replies

This time the 747-100 is not ported from FSX, but from FSLTL. As always, the rest is from MSFS. Of course, this is not for the purist, but I can also fly the older birds this way. And the 741, especially with the PanAm livery, just looks good. What's more, many moons ago I crossed the pond in one of these PanAm planes.

Shortly after 5 o'clock in the morning, the sun is slowly rising

Just over an hour later, we are ready to leave Dubai

Already pretty busy at this time of the day

No wonder they plan to build an even larger airport

Beautiful set and beautiful plane, Bernd. That's what a jumbo should look like! Having a really nice -200 for it is one of the main reasons I keep XP11/12 on my system. Don't use it often but every now and then.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Great shots bernd! 😉

Marvelous set, bernd...great to see this nostalgic livery...on a Jumbo...

One transit through OMDB with Emirates, but I came nowhere close to what I see, here, captured in your shots...🙂...the terminal was just too big inside....

Thanks for sharing...!

Nice to see an Pan Am 747 again, been a long time.

Thanks a lot, P_7878 and Darryl!

OMDB is really huge, I agree. I wonder, how much bigger the new version is going to be.

I really hope that some day Just Flight will bring their version of these iconic birds to MSFS, so that we have a proper vc again.
