Cockspur Phenom 100 breaths new life

Featured Replies

First off this was an addon with amazing potential.  It had a great visual model, it used the default Asobo G1000 gauges when left not that much to model in a newer automated aircraft.  Where it fell short was the sounds and flight model.  The default sounds that came with this bird were so bad I hangered it holding on to a promise by the developers all reported issues would get addressed.  That I believe was almost a year ago (shortly after it's release).  It took two recent freeware offerings that brought this bird into it's own as in how it should have been released:

Flight Model:

Cockspur Phenom 100EV - Enhancement Mod (CFD & Ground Handling, New Flight Model) for Microsoft Flight Simulator | MSFS

Sounds:

FTSim+ - Phenom 100 Soundset (made specifically for this aircraft)

These two mods made all the difference and I'd say a must have for anyone who is a fan of the real the Phenom 100.🍺  It's especially nice in VR.  There's also a cabin overhead light mode that looks real nice offered on Flightsim.to.  I'll be very cautious next time purchasing anything from this developer, but I am grateful they made something others could build upon and make it a top-notch add-on (someone will still find fault with it no matter what improvements are done😶).😊

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super OC 16GB - Pimax Crystal Light VR

The FTSim site appears to be down...  are the sounds worth it?  Is it like a subscription thing where you can download the sounds once etc?

Cockspur mentioned upon the release of the Phenom 100 that they had "hired a sound engineer to completely rework the sound."

WEHT that announcement?

.Thanks for the heads up on this aircraft, i bought it yesterday, and installed the improvements mentioned, and it's a great little Biz jet.
