July 29, 20241 yr Sorry if I missed this, but I seem to have seen somewhere that the new (IniScene?) built-in version of Farnborough is designed to show the air show, but only on the actual air show dates? Is this the case? I've tried setting the appropriate date within the sim but I'm not seeing anything other than the basic airport. I already have the BBD version, which looks pretty much identical to me, and I'm trying to decide which one to use in future. If the new built-in version includes a working air show, great, but otherwise it feels a bit too clever for its own good. Of course if might just as easily be that I'm too dumb for my own good <grin> If anyone has got it working I'd be grateful to learn how, ta. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used
July 29, 20241 yr Mine didn't seem to work at first, but there was a small update yesterday or the day before that seems to have fixed it. Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
July 29, 20241 yr Author Ok, just fired it up and got that update. Shut down/restart and still no sign of any air show with MSFS date set at July 24th. Anybody got the airshow working? Anybody got the airshow working? I actually went to the airshow would be cool to see if they got details fairly good. Specifically the Airbus pavilion I was on with matching sandwiches, coffee, juice and biscuits. ✈️☕😎 Russell Gough SE London
July 30, 20241 yr Author I'm officially giving up on this. I've removed it from MSFS as I already had the Burning Blue Design version and I'm happy with that. Decided to run my own airshow instead - https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/646787-farnborough-air-show/ Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. July 31, 20241 yr The Burning Blue version is better anyway. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base

July 31, 20241 yr Author I've got all the Burning Blue stuff bar one (didn't fancy SIbson, for some reason) and I think they're great. Not noticed any particular peformance issues but that's all very dependent on systems, I guess. BBD have done a few close to Gatwick resulting in a performance drop due to the number of detailed airports in the area especially if you use the excellent EGKK by MKVY (which is actually one of the best - if not the best piece of freeware for MSFS and is payware quality without a doubt).
