August 7, 20241 yr I think you must be right that there are more agencies using the DC-3 in Colombia. There's over a hundred and fifty still flying regularly in the world. It stands a great chance of being in service for a hundred years. The plane turned out to be more rugged then Douglas thought and they way over produced spare parts.
