Fenix released an update yesterday that says that it fixes the oscillations. Rest assured, I have tested it and the oscillations are still there. 😞

We fixed all the instances we could repeat - if you have a way to replicate this reliably please do submit a ticket with steps along with a video if possible and we'll see what we can do. The difficulty with this one was we found there were a few different causes, so we were only able to fix what we could find and repeat.

Hey Dave,

The recreation, for me, is simply flying a final. The moment I descend below 1,000ft AGL the oscillation starts and continues to about 50ft AGL, as shown in the video in the original post (in the original post I was just showing the behavior not on an approach but flying low enough to recreate).

The issue isn't discriminatory on the airport, the weather (turbulence is set to light and I've also tried it without any weather), weight, anything - the oscillations happen each and every approach and I cannot find a way to overcome it or not produce it. The FCTL page (in the aircraft) shows the elevator rapidly oscillating between trying to pitch the aircraft up and down (as shown in the original video). Also, as shown in the video, there is no input from my flight controls that would cause this to be a hardware issue (it also happens when my flight controls are completely unplugged from my computer).

If you guys need me to send you any other information or data, I am happy to do so - just let me know!

I might send you a logging build in a bit if that's ok - just to see what we can gather from this. Can you send me a DM when you're able please?

I have tested and re-tested and they are still there on the A321.  I have not noticed them on the 320 or 319.

Hi all,

I am also dealing with the oscillation issue on the 321 and 319. Yesterday on approach to LSZH I noticed at approach with full flaps when reducing flaps to 3 the oscillation stopped and when going back to 4 it again started. I opened a ticket with Fenix about this.

hi all, same here since i  bought the expansion. i did open a ticket with Fenix a few weeks ago , they could not find anything wrong yet to  resolve that issue and have just closed my ticket today. I really hope someone will find a solution , it looks like many are not experiencing those pitching up and down issues. It even started to happen with the A320 since the last update. The only thing i have done to be able to fly the 320 , i downgraded to version 2.2.0.232 to be able to fly the 320 correctly. In the mean time , i cannot fly the 319 and 321.

Glad I passed on getting the expansion, my A 320 is my favorite aircraft to fly now, no issues at all.

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to update everyone that this aircraft is still unflyable for me. Fenix said they would be sending me a version of the aircraft that logs everything (on 9/2/24) and I have been in communication with Aamir but they still haven't sent me that version. I have ran all of the updates and am using the most up-to-date everything (sim, A319/320/321, etc.) and it continues to be unflyable to the point I only use it once every update to see if the issue is solved, yet.

Anyone had any success in rectifying this?

Is this just the A321 or the A320 as well?

I've done a lot of flying recently in the A320, including circuits, and never seen this.
