How accurate is Headwind A339 flight model?

It's an order of magnitude easier to hand-land this thing than the PMDG 77W... in that one GEES always rates me 'firm landing' with ~1.5g. I'm a sh*t pilot i guess x_x

I don't have the tools to respond to the specific question (I am not a pilot), but landing Airbusses is supposed to be easier than Boeings.

It has not received any new alpha updates since January 19, 2024. The FBW framework it uses is way behind what is in the FBW A32N. They still have the old smaller EFB in it as well that FBW updated a long time ago in theirs but has not made it to HW. It's freeware so really no incentive for them to keep their nose to the grindstone. I've moved on and away from it.

I did a medium-haul flight in the HW339 on the weekend and thought felt really nice. I use the Fenix 99% right now but the HW is not all that far off really..

Well I hope you are not talking about system depth because its nowhere near Fenix Level. Don't see many HW users praising the A339 FM either. Its just a Meh A330 for MSFS who just wants to fly what is available for a A330 in the game.

yeah I'm not talking about system depth I'm just talking about the overall experience and its ability to nicely fly from A to B, which is what most look for.

For me the sensations and that the flight model is good is the most important thing, that's why I guess he did not touch another addon that is not the A2A Comanche. but around here it is fashionable to have many systems and many accessories like croissants and clean the rearview mirror, it seems that they do not care that then fly the addon like a drunken duck.

I did several flights the last weeks with the HW A300-900 and all went fine so far, landings seems also very good for my feeling.

So a very useable AC - IMO..

cheers 😉

I recently downloaded the A330 and have had fun flying it, hand flies pretty nicely and overall fills a gap in the market quite nicely. Can’t really complain too much about something that cost $0.00

I will certainly be taking her across the pond in the coming days.
