September 30, 20241 yr How is simulating real life things make something game-y? Asobo/MS even worked with experts in those fields to make sure the career jobs are being portrayed realistically. One example was a medivac requiring you to fly at a certain altitude for the patients blood pressure. Edited September 30, 20241 yr by Tuskin38
September 30, 20241 yr Gonna have to tell all these real-world pilots who dare to have careers instead of randomly just flying from A to B on a whim that they're gamers. 😉 Incidentally, this MSFS2024 is an evolution of a revolutionary product, furthering that revolution, hence it's both. It's an evolution of MSFS2020 and further revolution for flight simulation. And how much it pi**es off the old holier-than-thou grumps who think they're the avatars of pure simulation is prime evidence of that. PS: all commercially available simulators that you can buy and fly on your personal computer are games. Flight Simulators are literally a genre of games, and they have been for several decades. If you think you're doing anything else than gaming regardless of the simulator you use, you're kidding yourself. You're rolePLAYING a pilot. And MSFS2024 is simply making that pilot roleplaying better. Edited September 30, 20241 yr by Abriael Editor-in-Chief at SimulationDaily.com
