  • Tried it and it still happed. Did cut the engine and let it coast, stayed straighter than it has with the engine running.

  • Okay, thanks for watching the video. Good to know its normal. I did zero torque and P-Factor to zero. Still slowly banked right.  I can make it better with trim so it doesn't happen near as fast.

Glad you feeling ok with it now. TO be fair I'd be worried if I took off and the plane flew dead straight! There's always SOME deviation going on to keep you busy. That's also one of the reasons why w

Okay, so I installed the Sim on my laptop with no updates other than the 130gig one to get started. Same behavior with both controllers. I have gone back to defaults on all profiles as well. So, back to the main computer to figure this out. I will attempt cutting the engine and see what happens. I have minimized the effect with Aileron trim but it isn't ideal I would imagine.

If the issue is still there on your laptop, wouldn't this indicate a controller issue?

I watched your video and it looks pretty much normal, I mean I didn't see a drastic turn to the right, just a gentle turn in what you'd expect with torque, and winds.

Can you trim this out?  Have you tried this?

It just seemed like every video I watch (that isn't using AP) seems to keep pretty straight and level without a lot of corrections. Since I have never flown in a GA aircraft I don't have a base to go off of.

Thank you all for taking the time to help out.

Glad you feeling ok with it now. TO be fair I'd be worried if I took off and the plane flew dead straight! There's always SOME deviation going on to keep you busy. That's also one of the reasons why we have TRACK as well as HEADING (TRK/HDG). You  almost always have to point the ac in a direction you do NOT want to go to get to where you DO want to go :D. That's the TRACK!
