October 13, 20241 yr That 1949 Mercury is absolutely gorgeous! Right off the bat I was fantasizing about tooling around town in it, until he spoiled it by getting into it and showing how really small it actually was. Amazing skills to scratch build something that looks that good.
October 14, 20241 yr Moderator I watched a video yesterday showing a Southeast Asian building a custom-built Ferrari "clone" from scratch using light-weight aluminum, clay forms, and fiberglass. It was an engrossing hour and a half, but much of it was sped up... The gentleman is an absolute artist. It was fun watching him drive it when completed. Fr.
