October 21, 20241 yr Hi , i did a flight EGLL-KJFK today in the B77W and everything was great besides the bright 31L Tarmac on KJFK in which i was not able to see the treshold making it difficult to judge. Great and amazing scenery with great performance. Is it a design fault or something else. ? UTC1630 live weather with ASFS Thanks Michael Moe Edited October 21, 20241 yr by Michael Moe Michael Moe
November 14, 20241 yr I completed a flight from EDDM to KJFK in the A380, amazing aircraft. Only issue I had was with the terrain issues at iniJFK. Bumps all over 4L which caused the aircraft to bounce high in the air after rollout. Did you happen to notice any of these Michael? Seems to be an ongoing issue since release without a fix and at other locations around the airfield, mostly at runway crossovers. Did you make sure to deinstall the default ASOBO JFK and turn Photogrammetry on?

I've seen that it might be related to photogrammetry, that sucks if true. The last thing I want is to do that over NYC with performance near the red line as it is. Inibuilds are close to the red line for me too it seems. Yes iniBuilds write to all their sceneries that they developer for usage with PG on only. Well they do *now*, because they did not when KJFK released and people who bought it noticed they couldn't use it with PG off. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Use 31L, this runway seems OK, others are not that good and ini says to use programmetry set on but seems not needed with 31L. I allways land on ini KJFK at 31L.. cheers 😉 Edited November 14, 20241 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.

This is the strangest thing but....I turned on PG and I found my performance increased around the airport!! The reason I've had it off for months on end was because of the performance hit. Go figure. Just another reason why I think the sim should be called Microsoft Head Scratcher 2020. To confirm, the issues at JFK were fixed but also at Feel There's LA Guardia where the terrain issues caused massive problems at the crossover of the runways. I've yet to check LVFR's LEMD, another airport that was diifcult to taxi around and land at due to the huge bumps in the tarmac which in some areas equated to "walls" but I suspect I'll get the same results there.
