Does 2024 installation break 2020?

Has anyone tried 2020 after loading 2024? Any issues?

I'm Steam, so stating your platform would be helpful...

I'm currently flying the Fenix in MSFS20 after installing MSFS24 and then giving up due to all the launch day issues. No problem at all - MS Store version for both sims.

Steam/Steam here.

No, the MSFS 2024 install only broke MSFS 2024...

Update: MSFS20 servers now seem to also be impacted. Have nonstop "your bandwidth is too low, you've been switched to offline mode" messages flying around in '20. Shambles.

Awesome - I was hoping todays predictable mess with the release of 2024 wouldn't impact 2020 in anyway - but it seems that was wishful thinking.....

*Seems* to have settled down now - although I am at 45,000 feet over the Caribbean, so possibly not much to stream.....

Wonder if some of the 2020 issues were people going back to 2020 increasing server load cause they cant play 2024 yet......

Landing was bad as it switched to some blurry mess due "low bandwidth" on final (had 3 disconnects about an hour ago). Restarted the sim for the return sector and so far so good - hopefully patient '20 is stable now. As for patient '24...

Possibly, they may have downgraded the capacity of the 2020 servers due to users prematurely uninstalling it !
