November 20, 20241 yr After a long download at last FS2024 was loaded at my system. I configured the avatar and then was taken to the main screen. I found a few options to start a flight, e.g. world photographer, free flight, but I didn't detect an option to configure the 2024 settings. No doubt I overlooked something, one of my senior moments I guess, but can any of you shed some light on how to configure graphic settings etc. Thanks a lot for any assistance in this matter. November 20, 20241 yr There is a cog wheel in the top right and there you can go into the settings. Vote to fix transparent sun visors having no effect on the sun glare effect in MSFS at: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sun-shades-sun-visors-not-influencing-light-in-cockpit/691565/

November 20, 20241 yr Controller setup is a mess. spend 1 hour trying to configure my mouse how I used it in 2020. while the different sets per general and per aircraft are nice, I never know which set I am currently defining as I cannot just select the default set. I just want 1 single overall mouse config, how to look left, right, toggle ATC window (not there anymore? at least does not toggle), switch between cockpit and external view - wow, that is difficult. decided to restart 2024 now... November 20, 20241 yr My TCA Captain pack wasnot recognized - clicking hardware options to calibrate shows no movement, even though both profiles show up in Control settings. Then tried again this morning, with no changes, and voila - they work (although quadrant throttle range is small and still cannot calibrate), Wonder if I just did something or Asobo fixing behind the scenes. Only thing I did was to unplug/plug USB while game was running. However, Control settings to me are still unintuitive...
