November 22, 20241 yr Assuming we get BATC and FSHud working with the new sim, it's a bit disappointing we won't be able to use it in career mode as it forces you to use the half baked internal ATC. Unless we ignore it altogether and just go with what the third party apps tell us, and then take the hit with our XP? Has anyone got to this stage yet or has any thoughts on the development and whether these things will play nicely with the career mode? (Which I am really enjoying)
November 22, 20241 yr Half baked in fact is probably an understatement. I did an IFR flight with the Max 8 and although the co-pilot with the animation is very good the ATC itself is a dumpster fire. Ryzen 7 5800x, 64gb, 7900XTX 24gb
November 22, 20241 yr I agree. Though, I don’t think you lose points for not using the ATC, just the bonus stuff. Haven’t tried ignoring ATC (don’t know which volume selection it is in the menu anyways), because if you get bad ratings, I think you lose out on good trips. Also, I’m not sure about the parking spot & taxi stuff. Are we required to park at specific spots? Or can we park anywhere?
