Essential for 2020. Not so much for 2024.

You're welcome. Here is some more news about REX Atmos for 2020, but these features will be included in the 2024 version:

Have you addressed the constant CTD when using Rex Atoms for some users, appreciated not everyone had this issue but a good few people did, including myself.

Thank you for bringing us a little bit of semblance of reality. FS2020 is simply fantastic with! But I'm not really confident about the outcome with fs2024 Or can we contact you to make a technical suggestion please?

What preset mate

So why can't the 'experts' at Asobo just get this right?  Is it something else that is beyond their capability?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Well, as we are talking about here, the atmosphere.

One of the reasons they gave for having to move on from 2020 was a new graphics engine that allows a better rendition of the atmosphere.

They finally got rid of the horizon line issue, but I still don't see great atmospheric colours.  I know very well that this can be subjective, but lots of people still use modifiers and filters, and people still want REX Atmos it seems.

Ah ok. So not so much that they didn't get it right, more that you don't like it.

Do you get any pleasure out of MSFS at all anymore? I'm sure you used to once upon a time.

Imho the clouds/atmosphere look better in MSFS 2024. The way the light shines onto the clouds , the way the sun shines towards you, the way the dust and dawn looks.
