Yeah Cape Town and Worcester in South Africa with distant mountains just look really poor in the sim. I have seen some improvement with this mod, but I'm wondering if it's purely placebo.

November 30, 20241 yr Author Here is a comparison with default Asobe vs Latest Bing version. To test this I switched them over live (don't try this at home it will overstress MSFS!). If started normally you would get either luminous green ASOBE or natural latest maps uniform over whole terrain. I'm sold now I can't go back to default. I had to be quick with this as I rotated whole strip was bright green the tiles were catching up to the plane fast! The cut-off point is right at the start of the runway you can see the line of demarcation between tiles from the left hill to right buildings. Used TDS 750 for VNAV and programmed altitudes in. Was SUBLIME!! So smooth I kept taking screenshots as I was testing out the Google maps (non-pro) option for this mod. Will share link in a few. At altitude pretty poor, bad colour matching as warned by MOD manual, but down low a different story. Make your own mind up folks! Of course it will vary hugely depending on your region. December 1, 20241 yr In the middle of the 2020 server issues last evening, when it finally started working again, I discovered this issue with the map mod and the 777. The mod caused the 777 CDU buttons to stop working while trying to set up a flight. I finally uninstalled the mod, and then 777 was fine. Reinstalled mod , back to the problem. I did this three times proving that the mod was definitely causing the problem. That was enough for me.
