December 1, 20241 yr Hello, can someone tell me what is up with the price discrepancies across flight simulator stores? Is that normal? For instance, FlyTampa Amsterdam costs about €26 on Simmarket and their website, however, directly via MSFS (2020) store, only €14,49.

December 1, 20241 yr Author Heh. Of course. My though was that MSFS is a little less general than general shopping. In other words, more niche. I would think that developers would be interested to keep the prices synced. But I guess not.

December 1, 20241 yr Author OK so finally the best idea is to know all the possible stores and even better, know where which products are sold, and then check prices before buying each addon.

Interestingly, Microsoft decided to increase the prices at the MS Marketplace to more closely match the rest of the outlets. What they actually did is raise the prices beyond what's available elsewhere, and lost some of my business in the process. Great little tool and quite the difference in price among stores. I generally bought scenery from the Marketplace and planes directly from the developer but now after being locked out of my scenery on 2024 I will start buying most everything outside the Marketplace, so this is quite helpful MSFS 2024. December 1, 20241 yr Author Great site! Thanks for sharing! It's incredible, how many resources are there for flight sim out there.
December 1, 20241 yr Talking about prices, can anyone tell me why the aviator edition of 2024 is £199.99 in the UK, but only $199.99 in the US? The exchange rate is currently about 1.27. Is the tax added afterwards in the US? Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).
