Say Intentions Question

Featured Replies

Hi folks. I have been looking into Say Intentions a little. I only fly VFR and wanted a product that handles VFR.

However, I searched on YouTube for videos showing VFR demos for the product. When I watched these videos, it seemed to me that it took forever for the ATC to come back, every single time.

I don't recall how long ago the videos were, so I am asking anyone who is using the product, has that gap in time shortened any?

Thanks.

I used it during the free 36 hours deal for black friday, I found the ATC response to be fairly quick.
It was an amazingly good experience for me.

You can still get 24 hours free when you sign up, give it a try!

I agree with Rob G. The response times of SI are much faster than they were on initial release (and getting better over time). Definitely worth setting up an account and giving the 24 hour trial a go to see if it meets your needs.

is the 24 hour trial real time hours or "in app" hours?

Real time.  This is the absolute best ATC.  The developer keeps coming up with new features to try out.  Love it.

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

An example--yesterday i had a partial  electrical failure in a vfr flight that had ATC center flight following..  Declared a Mayday.  The controller asked the nature of the distress and what I wanted.  I explained the failure and asked center to be vectored to the closest airport were I could safely land.  Got vectored to a close airport that had a runway long enough to safely land.  I know of no other ATC that can do that.  With AI atc the possibilties are endless.  It's a steep price, but I wouldn't fly without it.

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.

For me also best Atc by far! Scripted Atc is so old fashioned AI is the future.

Also you can talk to your co pilot and cabin crew in many languages. I allways change the language depending on where I am flying.

Another cool feature.  If you give permission,SI will record your voice, manipulate it and use it as one of their AI voices.  I've heard my voice several times each flight.  It has accents and different cadence, but I recognize it.

Forever indebted to the late Michael Greenblatt of FSGS.
