Well yesterday I got off with a lecture about using Luminar4 real skies in my shots, he said they are fake and don't represent MSFS 2024. So today I did three shots using just default clouds just for curiosity sake.

This the main reason I never enter screenshot contests. Been using Luminar4 for so long I don't know anything else, you folks are the masters at that, not me.

Where were you posting screen shots and who is the “he” that “warned” you?

Great shots again Adam, also those without Luminar! 🙂 On shot 2 the typical msfs sunlight is visible and I'am a bit tired of that,

it blinds me in the sim all the time. Always switch the daytime to get rid of it. And again in 2024 is no adjustment for that available.

As it were the greatest invention of all time.

It's an interesting question, editing screenshots or not. You know how to handle your bitmap editor and the results are great.

So I assume that your Luminar4 is an editor and not a tool which works during runtime of the sim. I will have a look at it.

On the other side a screenshot which is not edited is also an information how the sim looks with a good setup. And your posts are not.

So it's a matter of taste or the question is, what does the respective viewer expect to see.

By the way, it's allowed in some contests to use edited shots, you can do it. The others will of course see that it's edited and than it's

interesting to see if they choose it as winner or not.

PC: Ryzen 7 3700x AM4, 16 GB RAM, RTX 3060 12GB, Storage SSD 3TB, HDD 8TB, USB 8TB, 2 Screens, Win10-64

SIMs: FSX SE, P3d 3.4/4.5/6.1, Xplane 10/11/12, MSFS 2020/24, Aerofly FS 4

Stick with what you like, Adam! 😀

Luminar4 is photo editing software that also has real cloud photos plus other things you can inject into your shots. They don't make it anymore, but the have new software that's called Luminar Neo, does the same thing and more.

Can't enter screenshot contests Andreas, people work hard at getting the perfect screenshot they are looking for, just can't do it. 🙂

I can't understand anyone complaining about edited images sourced from a fake world that only exists on a screen. 🙂

You do you - I like your work!

This is a virtual (and make-believe) world, Adam, that we're living here. First, for our own fun and to our own individual liking, and then if we can share bits of our excitement and enjoyment with others here, that's wonderful too ...

So, I personally like to see your screenshots...with MSFS airplanes, ships, cars, and birds and such ...🙂...though I can understand if opinions may differ...

Yep, It's a screenshot forum for crying out loud, just do your own thing and have fun, that's what it's all about.

Thank you much. 🙂

I understand you have the hard core simmers that don't like anyone doing anything out of the ordinary, well they have a rough road ahead so buckle up, I say. 😁
