December 14, 20241 yr Since 1.2.7.0, I have an issue with FS2FF (v0.1.14), the little program that allows me to connect my tablet with Foreflight or Skydemon. It worked like a charm previously with MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. The SimConnect (MSFS2024 <-> FS2FF) doesn't establish. Connect green light appears very briefly then FS2FF disconnects. I have reset the local Windows firewall and check fs2ff has private (and public) access is ticked. Other apps SimConnect connections work. Didn't find anything related to FS2FF in my Event Viewer. Anyone has an idea how to fix or diagnose this? Thanks for your help. Edited December 14, 20241 yr by vbazillio Vincent B. December 14, 20241 yr I’m using this one https://github.com/mihai-dinculescu/msfs-2020-gps-link and it works with msfs 2024 for me
December 14, 20241 yr Author Thanks. With MSFS2020 GPS Link Simconnect connexion seems steady. Unfortunately, it could not be a replacement solution for FS2FF as "MSFS2020 GPS Link" doesn't support displaying MSFS Traffic into Foreflight. But thank you. December 14, 20241 yr Same situation with FS2FF. Please post if you find a solution. I'll do the same. Bob Donovan - KBOS
December 15, 20241 yr Author Found this fork of fs2ff by jeffdamp-wave. And finally get connected to MSFS24 v1.2.7 ! Get position and traffic on Foreflight again. Download at Github : https://github.com/jeffdamp-wave/fs2ff/releases I had to launch it two times, set manually my iPad IP address, unticked Use GDL90 protocol to make it worked but I'm not sure if I wasn't just enough patient 😉 NB: there're new features like the auto-exit and fine tuning of displayed traffic. December 15, 20241 yr Wow! Jeppesen world wide charts for the world are almost $4000 per year, can you link Navigraph charts to Foreflight? Yes we are getting a great deal with Navigraph. Yes we are getting a great deal with Navigraph. No. That's the market difference with real world aviation and the sim aviation. Enjoy your Navigraph. December 16, 20241 yr Hello VB, I can't help with that particular combination but just to throw out an alternative that may work and is inexpensive, I use MSFSBridge to link 2020 and Skydemon, It is reported to work with 2024 also but of course this may have changed with the update like it did with the app you use. Just one to consider perhaps but hopefully you get a fix for what you presently use.
