SI w/BATC

Featured Replies

This combo works well for traffic injection via BATC and SI for ATC.  Both in 20 and 24.

Are you saying you're using both at the same time (i.e. vfr and ifr coverage)? Or are you simply saying they both work?

But this is totally pointless. BATC knows where you are and traffic will react to you. But if you don't let BATC control you, the whole setup makes zero sense and you might as well just use AIG or any other free Traffic injector.

Yeah why are you not using a free injector? SI isn't aware of any traffic anyway, let alone control it.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

For me it’s an alternative injector to FSLTL since it doesn’t work in 2024 yet.

I like BATC and happy with my purchase, but its lack of support for custom call signs, rigid static nature and lack of VFR makes me prefer SI more.

Once the FSLTL injector is back I’ll probably stop using it.

When you use BATC you don't need the FSLTL injector. It suffices to put FSLTL base models in your community folder and BATC will take care of injecting traffic.

Sorry I should have made that clear. The FSLTL injector is bugged in 2024, but the BATC seems to work better (if a little slow).
I’m saying it’s a temporary set up for me until the injector starts working again properly.
