MSFS 2024: M20R Ovation over Cornwall

Featured Replies

The Carenado M20R is one of the aircraft that MS/AS dragged through from MSFS 2020 & had sitting in my library as Disabled.

I "Enabled" it & took it for a low level flight along the Cornwall coastline.

Flew very well, AP worked ok.

Noticeable in the cockpit that some of the instrument on screen  lettering was on the faint side as was some of the wording on the buttons, until you got very close up.

& the out the side window shot shows probably an excess of smudging & scratching.

But an aircraft that will get more time in MSFS 2024.

Also, my PC spec is such that currently I can't run the graphics more than on a Medium/High mix. Hopefully MS/AS will be able to sharpen the scenery up in the future.

Yeah unfortunately all 2020 products will have dim LCD screens in 2024 unless fixed by the developer.  FSW has already fixed their C414, Lear and Sierra.  FSReborn has also updated their M500 so it's working pretty well.

Ryan, have you flown any aircraft in MSFS 2024 & noticed on the 530 GPS that you can't shift from Nav2 to Nav1 when you want to set up an ILS frequency?

I get that on every 530 GPS, so far.

Excellent screens Treetops...

Darryl

Great to see this a/c in MSFS2024, T...! And glad you tried it after "Enabling" it from library...

Yes, I've the similar scenery resolution issues on Xbox in MSFS2024...Agree, some more efficiency from the MS/Asobo side will be desirable...especially considering that everything (scenery and aircraft) is now Streamed in...
