December 18, 20241 yr I've had some frustrations with the SWS, I wanted to look at the Carenado, going to their own web site it says this is ONLY available in the Marketplace. But then I go fire up 2020, look in the Marketplace and it doesn't find this plane. Something I'm missing here? Was it removed due to 2024 or something?? Cheers! Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines
December 18, 20241 yr Searching for 'PC-12' or 'Carenado PC-12' didn't find it in the market place, but just searching 'Carenado' and scrolling down did find it.

Oh, I will try that when I have access a little later. Thanks for the reply! Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines

I have them both and the difference in systems fidelity is abysmal, the TBM is a joy to fly. There are many who believe "being a handful" to fly is an indicator for a realistic flight model, I'm just not one of them. However, I don't know if you are aware that there's another patch imminent, where they claim to have solved the issues. Maybe you'd want to wait for that, before turning to Carenado. Here's from their Discord reagrding the incoming upate: The flight model hits the numbers, responds well, feels right The autopilot has been re-tuned for GNS/PMS and TDS in accordance with the reworked flight model Some minor quirks in the engine have been improved New seats are now in the cockpit. An upgrade to the cabin is planned and may still make it for Christmas. Reported bugs with the EFIS have been corrected The altitude selector has been improved under-the-hood and will come with new keybinds for improved functionality. On that one, we are running a poll on our Discord, to select the method you prefer us to use. While the list seems short, the flight model has undergone a pretty extensive rework. While some compromises were made, the overall feel is vastly improved and lacks most problems we had in the past versions. The entire flight modelling process for the PC-12 has been a long, painful learning experience, allowing us to gain a very deep knowledge of the MSFS flight model and work around most of its limitations. We believed -and still do- that the PC-12 was our best and most complex development, but such things come with teething pains. Now it's over that. Thanks for the suggestion, I already own and fly the Black Square Bonanza and Baron, also have the Dukes but haven't spent much time in them, I know how good their planes are. This was just about this specific plane. Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines

Thanks Tom, I'm a real PPL, owned a Cherokee 180, the so-called GA handling in the sim is a joke, I used to take pictures while in the pattern of some of the airports around here in Portland, they aren't twitchy or hard to handle provided you know what you are doing. In the sim you are constantly wrestling with them. Its the main reason I mostly fly airliners and use the automation. But 2024 has me messing around with GA again 🙂 In any case I'm not giving up on SWS, good to know there's more coming! Thanks! Jack F. Vogel, Delta Virtual Airlines
March 10, 20251 yr I purchased the SWS PC12 this past weekend. I have had a half dozen flights in it, and it flies great. Every landing and takeoff are right on the centerline. This apparently had a major update last month because users had problems with ground handling, and these problems are not something I am seeing at all. The last update apparently fixed those issues, BTW, I am on MS 2020.
March 10, 20251 yr I suspect you would be incredibly disappointed by the Carenado offering... I'm afraid it's mostly a waste of money.
