MSFS 2024 vs iconic movie locations

Featured Replies

Somebody in Reddit composed a list of photos of MSFS 2024 vs famous movies and their locations:

It’s simply amazing. You will not get this in MSFS 2020 without using custom scenery add-ons. The OP of that thread did use some add-ons like the train add-on, but I don’t think he used add-ons to generate the main part of the background scenery.

I think that the Last of the Mohicans shot should be North Carolina (not South Carolina). I visited a couple of the locations for that movie (including Chimney Rock) when I was on holiday way back in 1994.

That is super impressive.  Not only from finding the precise locations, but the fact that the scenery is almost a 1:1 match.  Sometimes we do not give enough credit to how far our flightsim has come.

It also illustrates the fact that MSFS has too many trees!!

The technology behind MSFS 2024 is amazing. They just need to fix the bugs, especially the bugs in Career Mode, and I think MSFS 2024 will really shine.
