Few general MSFS2024 questions.

Are the following correct / current for major airports :

For most major airports, yes. Is it a 1-1 match to reality, especially with terminal buildings and all.. no. But in EDDF, EGLL CYYZ, and a bunch more big airports I’ve had no issues as such with this. Stuff seems generally correct, at least to the level where I haven’t noticed a major issue.

example of major issue for context  - In Munich, the taxiway bridges over the street below are visually modelled.. but your plane falls right through. That’s a major issue in my book.

Many taxi signs and some taxiways are incorrect.  Some signs are simply missing.  KACK Nantucket is a good example.  There are multiple taxiways labeled "A".  There are others, but none committed to memory.

There is really good freeware for KACK also.

Thanks for the follow up.

I had a look at KACK (MSFS2020) and also noticed Taxiway C is shown as a runway 12/30 without any edge lighting.

MSFS2020 EDDM I noticed:

Many Jet Bridges (Jetways) are not connected to their terminal buildings.

Taxi signs have sinage only on one side.

Aircraft taxi Bridges are ok with traffic flowing under the Aircraft Bridge (screenshot).

MSFS has a bug where for some airports, the jetways are disconnected from the terminal. The problem stems from the sim not processing LODs correctly. Most objects in the sim actually have multiple Levels of Detail (LOD) that get simpler the farther the object is from the user. You can demonstrate the bug by going into Developer Mode with top down view. Zoom way out and then back down and the jetways will usually reconnect.

Is the bug still in MSFS2024?

I'm not sure. I haven't seen it yet, but that doesn't mean much. Maybe someone else can comment on this.

Thanks for the follow up and the link.
I watched the video by Umberto67 in one of his comments in that link that illustrates the LOD / Jetway zoom problem you mentioned.
